At 1:26pm on April 2nd, First Baptist Church in Oconomowoc was completely destroyed in a gas explosion. Fortunately, no one was in the building at the time, and none of the construction or utility workers were seriously injured in the blast.Now, you might be asking, "wasn't your dad the pastor of that church?" He was, but the church board let him go a few months ago for reasons I won't get into...let's just say "church politics." Had he still been with the church, he would've been in his office at the time of the blast & we wouldn't have a dad/husband/grandpa. God works in weird ways.
